SaaS Veteran Hired to Lead Next Phase of Global Expansion
SAN FRANCISCO—November 8, 2016—FollowAnalytics, the leader in Enterprise Mobile Success, today announced the appointment of Carl Theobald as CEO and to the Board of Directors. In his new role, Theobald will work closely with FollowAnalytics’ global customers, employees, and partners to expand the company’s worldwide business and extend its leadership in empowering enterprises to turn their mobile apps into a valuable and strategic marketing channel.
Theobald brings 25 years of experience growing enterprise software and SaaS businesses. Before joining FollowAnalytics, Theobald was the CEO of Avangate, a leading SaaS ecommerce provider, where he grew the company 6x in just four years. As a former Oracle CRM product executive, he drove order-of-magnitude revenue growth by bringing new and innovative products to market. Theobald holds a masters in engineering from Stanford University and completed his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering at Princeton University.
“I’m thrilled to be leading FollowAnalytics into the next phase of its global expansion,” said Theobald. “People now spend twice as much time inside mobile apps as they do on laptops, and engagement within those apps is the single biggest driver of customer lifetime value. FollowAnalytics helps enterprises achieve mobile success by enabling them to engage with their customers in highly personalized ways.”
“We are delighted to have Carl join the FollowAnalytics team,” said Jennifer Fonstad, Founder, Aspect Ventures. “Carl’s SaaS expertise and proven track record of driving global growth make him uniquely positioned to take the company to the next level.”
